I loved this. What a talented group of men with a fantastic sense of humor. There is a great movie called Romantico about a guy trying to make a living as a Mariachi singer in San Francisco. -Janet

It's been quite awhile since I posted this, and it makes me realize that I neglected to mention here that I did indeed watch Romantico, and highly recommend it. It's a great documentary about a guy very much like these guys, and such was the power of it that this little fun film is inflected somewhat differently for me now.
